Hot Fudge for Non Chocoholics

Not much for a big dollop of hot fudge? Me either. This one though. Woah. Make it in advance and allow it to set in the fridge for a creamy, dreamy, chocolate dose you didn’t even know that you needed.

The consistency here is unparalleled to other recipes I’ve tried for the chocoholic in my life.

Dreamy Hot Fudge

  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 6 oz (~200g) bittersweet chocolate
  • 1/4 c. cocoa powder
  1. In a small pot, over medium heat combine cream, sugar, salt, and butter. Stir occasionally until butter is melted.
  2. Turn temperature down to a simmer and add in the bittersweet chocolate. Stir frequently, until melted.
  3. Remove from heat to whisk in the cocoa powder.
  4. Return to heat and stir about 30 seconds or until creamy and glossy.

Note: Can be eaten immediately, but much better after it’s had time to chill out in the fridge.
