The Bygone- Baltimore

Let Bygones be Bygones, and that’s just what we did when test driving this 29th floor resto atop of The Four Seasons. First stop, cocktails! The bar spans the harbor side of the restaurant and would be just perfect for a sunset; unfortunately, we picked a rather grey day for our visit and missed out… this time…

This sunny gin and tonic with an abundance of smoked herbs did the trick.

We tried a crab cake and spicy cauliflower to start and both were so incredible and instantly devoured, I failed to snap a photo.

For my main, I opted for snapper with tiny gnocchi and roasted veggies. The portion size was huge and was absolutely delicious. My colleague chose the lamb and was equally happy with her choice.

For dessert, we split the chocolate cake that apparently won an award for the best chocolate torte in Baltimore. The cake was insanely rich, but did have a fun crunchy layer in the middle. Two of us shared this and still had about half leftover. Unreal.

The Byegone was phenomenal! Make this special place your special occasion spot in Baltimore. I know I can’t wait to go back.
