Ya’ll, it is crushing me that our restaurant industry friends are out of work for the unforeseeable future. As you know, food, drink, restos, travel, menus, tastings – it’s all so close to home for me. Raleigh has really come into its own in this department and while we can still order online and have curbside takeaway, we MUST support our local businesses if we want to enjoy them after this true mayhem (quickly!) subsides. Personally, any excuse to nosh on some Pooleside Pies from the comfort of my own couch in sweatpants scares me a wee bit, but I’ll do it if that’s what will support the community during these strange times.
