Everyone at the Table- Puglia

The Gentleman kept wishing for a pasta making class for us to take, so after some research, we settled on the well-reviewed “Everyone at the Table” located in Altamura. After booking, I kept running into more and more details about the program everywhere from the New York Times to Conde Nast. We couldn’t wait for the course.

The apartment that is the cooking studio is a modern juxtaposition to the old town and everything from linens to food just screams, “Instagram me.” Over the three days, we met three other interesting couples on the culinary journey with us, of course as well as the gracious hosts. The food was divine, and recipes I can’t wait to try, but it wasn’t really a cooking class. While there was pasta making on the last day, which was fun, and why we signed up, the other dishes (and there were many) were either premade by the hosts or assembled in front of the group with the occasional help of an attendee. The learning experience was akin to watching a live cooking show which was fun and relaxing.

Everyone at the Table is a fun and very intense (3 day) way to to learn more about Puglia, and the vendors and ways of life of Altamura. It seems they do shorter or more customized cooking classes, so make sure you book what it is you’re really after- you certainly won’t leave hungry in any way!
