Caesar’s Palace- Las Vegas

It was a very long week spent at the gigantic Caesar’s Palace hotel. The room itself was just fine, but I was bamboozled into an upgrade when they told me I could enter the upgraded room early an also that it was in the same tower as my trade show. (It was not, but I did break into another trade show). With three weeks worth of US luggage (read Zappos/Target shopping spree) and not a porter in sight, I pushed, pulled, and grunted the three heavy suitcases across the gaming floor to my room. (It seems very surprising there wouldn’t be a porter or offer of a porter…)

The room itself was huge with a great view of the pool.

Despite having only one bed, for some reason there were 1.5 bathrooms.

The main bathroom had a Jacuzzi tub with further fueled my reason for upgrading. The store in the lobby sold bubble bath for $37! $37! Unbelievable. I’d rather they just bake this into the price of the upgrade, but it’s nice to feel robbed on every last detail, like paying for K-cups in the room or the $75 fee to store things in the fridge.

There was a toilet room.

And a long hallway with many closets.

Would I stay at Caesar’s again? Absolutely not. Would I return to Vegas on my own accord? Much the same. I appreciate that the room was well-cleaned, but it just wasn’t worth the price of admission.

Thoughts?
