If you’re looking for a cute weekend brunch spot, Max in Eaux Vives is an easy choice, just be sure to book ahead for its tiny interior. The tables were really well spaced for Covid and one board of a menu ensured that you couldn’t read it at a distance, but that you certainly didn’t have to touch it. The simple interior is bright, yet chic.

The coffee was dark and smooth.

The scrambled eggs were simple, but delicious. We couldn’t figure out what was in them, but they were delightful. I will say, that while this was nice, I kept ogling my neighbor’s savory French toast option that seemed to include some sort of salmon. Next time, Max.
