Cafe de Grancy

My first Swiss meal out of quarantine was maybe not the most Swiss… a lovely salmon tartare from Cafe de Grancy. I enjoyed it with a glass of local white while sitting in the sunshine. The food was good and plentiful, but not completely too much. This place came highly rated by some fancy folks in my company. While, I will say it was perfectly good, maybe even leaning towards great that perhaps it had a bit much of a build up?

The spot offers a modest dining room, a lovely front patio covered in greenery and shade and a rather large side patio that is always busy when I walk by on the daily. You feel a bit like you’re in a fashion parade when you stroll by from the train, but what better way to make eye contact and convince someone to invite you for a glass of wine? Maybe tomorrow….

Thoughts?
