Sofitel Europe – Brussels

The Dreaded Solo Macaron: Terrible service, abysmal follow-up from hotel and hotel chain, average room, overall lack of thoughtfulness.

I’m sharing a few snaps of this very standard hotel. The Hermes products were nice. The restaurant was phenomenal, but we will address this separately. The hotel itself was very average- not five star as noted. The service was abysmal. Housekeeping never came even though they offer a twice daily service. After asking for items multiple times and forgoing housekeeping, they never arrived. On the way out there was a mix-up with my airport transfer and the manager would not properly rectify the situation as one of his employees suggested. He then dropped our email conversation completely when I shared that you cannot submit feedback via their form online, because like the hotel, it is broken. The whole holiday experience was really unimpressive.

Save yourself headache, and simply do not stay here.
