Belmond Charleston

Two of my best foodie friends met me for a debaucherous girls’ weekend in Charleston. I don’t mean dranks or shopping debaucherous…I mean purely food…so much fooddddd. In fact, I’m still in a food coma from this weekend. Most of it was so tasty, I’m going to share all of my restaurant reviews so you can relive the Southern magic without the calories.

But first, let me give you a quick tour of our beautiful hotel, the Belmond Charleston. I’ve stayed here a few times before, but the rooms are so pretty that they still make my heart go pitter patter every time I stay here.

Here’s a glance at my sleeping quarters. With an odd number of travellers, I managed to pull my own room. Lucky moi! I’ll actually be staying here again in a few weeks with the Gent, so I may as well just move in, yes?

I was sort of obsessed with this mirrored armoire that lit up when the doors opened. Screw stealing bathrobes; I’m taking this.

Accidental bathroom selfie is real good for double chins. Ugh, but it’s too pretty not to share this vanity.

One of my favorite toiletry brands at the ready, with great little squeeze tops, no less.

Just a casual plate of Surryano ham for a snack/late lunch at the hotel bar.

I liked this bomb-ass map wallpaper a latte.

Adorable silver tray for French-press room service.

I had a book on my bedside table (like I always do) and I came back one evening to find this bookmark inserted in the pages. How can you not love details like that???

Thanks for an amazing stay, Belmond! Can’t wait to return in a few weeks!
