Happy Birthday, Walter!

It’s hard to believe you’re one year old already. It’s hard to imagine that my little brother and his lovely wife have a child. It’s hard to imagine that I’ve ever seen my parents happier, goofier, and more poured with purpose than when they are around you. It’s hard to imagine loving so much, even before I met you. 

In just a year nothing and everything has changed and I can’t imagine it being any other way. It’s as if the birthday celebrations and gifts finally make sense – truly a thank you for being born.
